Star Wars Skeleton Crew First Update

Do you feel like you are still recovering from that dramatic ending to The Acolyte? 

There will not be much recovery time for the next installment from a galaxy far, far away. Confirmed by their official X account, Star Wars has confirmed it’s next series Star Wars Skeleton Crew. This is set to premier on 3rd of December 2024 on Disney Plus.

There have been limited details coming out about the show so far. We do know that the show has been written by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford. You may recognise their names from their work on The Spiderman Home trilogy. We also know that the lead on the show will be Jude Law who will be playing a character called Jod Na Nawood. He is a Force-user who comes across a group of children who are lost on their way back to their home planet.

The show will be set after Return of the Jedi. We know this is within the same timeframe as The Mandalorian, who happens to be looking after a Jedi youngling. Luke Skywalker is also a prominent figure at this time. After the battle of Endor and the fall of the empire, Luke starts a school to begin the Jedi teachings again.

Could any of these characters find their way to his teachings?
